About Job/Role
The role is for a Lead ML Engineer / LLM Specialist responsible for leading a team to develop, deploy, and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) across multiple modalities (text, image, video/audio). The position focuses on performance benchmarking, research-driven innovation, and mentoring ML engineers while contributing to new product and feature development.

Roles and Responsibilities

Lead a team of ML Engineers to analyze LLM training and inference performance
Deploy highly scalable LLMs and evaluate model performance and accuracy
Experiment with multi-model systems involving text, image, and video/audio data
Collaborate with the Machine Learning Team to design benchmarks for LLMs
Drive research and technology innovation to improve efficiency and automation in ML/DL workloads
Contribute to new product and feature definitions
Mentor and guide team members, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development
Quickly adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and algorithms

Primary Skills

Strong proficiency in Python and Python data science frameworks
Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch
Expertise in transformer-based language models (LLMs)
Ability to analyze large datasets and evaluate model performance
Team leadership and mentoring skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Data Science or ML Engineering roles
MS or PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or related field preferred
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
