About Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Science professional with expertise in Generative AI (GenAI), Machine Learning, and Python. The candidate will work closely with ESG stakeholders to identify business problems and implement data-driven solutions using NLP and Large Language Models (LLMs). The role involves designing, developing, and deploying innovative AI solutions while staying updated with the latest advancements in the field. The position reports to the CES Innovation Lead and works under the supervision of the CES AI Science Lead.

Roles & Responsibilities

Collaborate with ESG stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into solvable data science problems.
Audit and analyze CES department text data assets to extract actionable insights.
Prepare high-quality training datasets with comprehensive coverage of ESG business domains.
Implement the latest NLP research and approaches to address complex business problems.
Develop robust multi-agentic Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using both open-source and managed LLMs.
Stay current with advancements in AI and NLP, applying innovative solutions to complex language processing tasks.

Qualifications Required

Mandatory Skills:

4+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Python.
4+ years of experience in NLP and Large Language Models (LLMs) with expertise in tokenization, embedding techniques, sequence-to-sequence models, attention mechanisms, and transformer architectures.
Strong understanding of text analytics and NLP concepts, including lemmatization, word segmentation, POS tagging, stemming, Named-Entity Recognition (NER), word2Vec, Doc2Vec, etc.
Proficiency in Machine Translation and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for processing complex documents (PDFs, Word documents, scanned documents).
Strong programming skills in Python with object-oriented design expertise and familiarity with CI/CD practices.
Experience with parallel processing frameworks such as Apache Spark and PySpark.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Education:

UG: B.Tech/B.E. in any specialization or any graduate.
