About Job/Role
The role is for a Generative AI Architect at NICE Actimize, responsible for providing technical leadership, architectural direction, and operationalization of Generative AI solutions within the organization’s product portfolio. The role involves designing scalable, secure, and production-grade GenAI systems, collaborating with engineering, data science, product, and business teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

Set end-to-end technical direction for Generative AI initiatives, including platform, tools, infrastructure, and technology stack
Architect, design, and oversee implementation of GenAI models and pipelines (LLMs, diffusion models, prompt engineering, RAG) for production use cases
Collaborate with engineering, data science, and product teams to define requirements, functional specifications, and ensure alignment with business objectives
Ensure GenAI solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable, adhering to enterprise standards
Lead architectural and design reviews and establish coding/model development standards
Evaluate, select, and integrate third-party GenAI platforms, frameworks, APIs, and cloud services
Drive innovation by staying updated with GenAI, ML, and AI infrastructure advancements
Mentor teams on AI/ML, MLOps, and responsible AI practices
Ensure robust model monitoring, performance evaluation, and feedback loops for deployed GenAI systems
Collaborate with security and compliance teams to adhere to data governance, privacy, and AI ethics requirements
Partner with customers, prospects, and industry forums to showcase GenAI capabilities and represent the company’s AI vision
Contribute to strategic planning for AI initiatives and technology roadmap
Mentor teams on MCP pillars and drive adoption of best practices throughout AI development lifecycle

Primary Skills

Expertise in designing and deploying production-grade Generative AI solutions: LLMs (GPT, Llama), summary generation, prompt engineering, RAG
Proficient with AI/ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, HuggingFace Transformers
Hands-on with MLOps tools: MLflow, Kubeflow
Experience with cloud AI platforms: AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI, OpenAI, Anthropic
Knowledge of machine learning concepts, data engineering, and operationalizing models at scale
Experience with API-driven architectures, microservices, and integrating AI into web/mobile/cloud apps
Programming proficiency in Python, Java, or similar; containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with CI/CD for AI/ML solutions, AI/ML testing, monitoring, and continuous model evaluation
Exposure to NLP and computer vision applications
Familiarity with responsible AI, data privacy, fairness, explainability, and compliance
Agile development experience using tools like JIRA

Required Qualifications

15+ years of software development/technical leadership, with at least 5 years in AI/ML and minimum 2 years in Generative AI system architecture
Proven ability to mentor engineers and data scientists, foster teamwork, and drive consensus
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
Ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Commitment to ethical AI and continuous learning
